NEW DELHI: Prime Minister launched the Scheme of 16,320 Crore Rs , Under this Modi Government has provided the Electricity Connection to 4 crore people of all Tribes which is comes from Rural or Urban Area ..Here are some FAQ for this scheme.
Why Government need to launched ?
Despite of government aggressive programme for the growth of rural areas , the Deen Dayal Upadhyay jyoti yojana introduce in july 2015,Under this 78% of 18,000 village has been electrified. But it was realised by the government the problem of electricity access doesn't resolve..
The village is declared electrified but in real on 10% of village is electrified along with Public places such as panchayat,health centers etc.So large of people doesn't access electricity so government introduce this programme for giving electricity connection for everyone who need it..
How will it help people ?
Today the electricity distribution companies {DISCOMS} had given the connection but doesn't supply the village area.. because of low demand in village .If under this scene every household getting the connection due to which the demand of electricity increase in villages due to which it create pressure to Discoms to supply electricity in the villages..
Any Other Benefits of this programme ?
Due to India is become the Third largest consumer of electricity after USA ,CHINA.It help in improve the living style of people.. Improvement in Education,health,connectivity,wealth and also create jobs..
How Will it Work?
To ensure on spot registration government introduce app .Under this if you below the poverty line which mean if u have BPL card then u get the connection without any cost .If u are not comes under this category then u need to pay 500 Rupees in 10 installment which was comes under bill.,
IF National electricity grid is not reaches to your village then it provide u solar panel and with battery which help for getting electricity..State run Rural cop is the main agency for this scheme..

2. Uttar Pradesh
3. Madhya Pradesh
4. Odisha
5. Jharkhand
6. Jammu and Kashmir
7. Rajasthan
