This Scheme was announced in the budget of Indian Railway 2016-17..Under this scheme if a passenger can book a Ticket through Official website of IRCTC then he get the Insurance of 10lakh rupees at the cost of 92 paise which is included with ticket payment..
Under the Scheme Insurance Company would pay the sum of rupees 10 lakh rupees to the Nominee
in case of Death or Total Disability in cash or in case of Partial Disability upto 2lakh rupees and give 10 thousand rupee for travel and hospital activities.
The facility is available who book ticket online and not for Suburban trains..This facility not for children less than 5 years and for foreign citizens....
